AI-Assisted Storytelling
A growing body of experiments using generative tools as creative instruments for writing, visual development, storyboarding, and multimedia concepting.
Approach
I use AI primarily as a creative development environment: a way to test visual directions, refine prompts, explore narrative possibilities, generate production options, and rapidly prototype ideas before committing to a final form.
Areas of practice
- Prompt writing and iterative refinement
- LLM-assisted ideation and editing
- Generative image and video workflows
- Visual continuity and storyboarding
- AI training and evaluation-oriented task workflows
Example workflow
Define the emotional objective, visual grammar, narrative beat, and constraints.
Build and iterate prompts for image, video, writing, or story development.
Evaluate outputs for continuity, tone, pacing, usefulness, and fidelity to the original idea.
Hands-on tools
My creative experiments have included generative video and image workflows, reference-image direction, extend/edit workflows, LLM prompting, narrative iteration, and conventional editing tools. I treat generated output as raw creative material that still requires selection, judgment, revision, and direction.
